Practice Day At Knolls – Apr 2013

April 20, 2013

We were a little nervous heading out to Knolls due to the rain.  It had rained on and off all week, and it was raining most of the morning.  The mud at Knolls can be really nasty when wet, but we decided to give it a try.  It rained periodically as we drove out west, finally stopping at about Delle.  It turned out to be perfect conditions for our skills exercises – the mud flats were slightly damp, but not muddy.

Jason and I wanted to practice some of the skills we learned at the DirtWise class a few weeks earlier, and Jamie wanted to get a picture of her doing a stoppie for her Facebook Profile photo.  We all accomplished our goals!

Here is a video showing some of the drills we were practicing.  We are still not very good, but we are making progress.
